FCCLA
Mission
Teachers, parents, students and the community all have an interest in the way students are prepared for adult life. FCCLA helps meet these expectations by offering interdisciplinary projects, relevant teaching themes, and cooperative learning opportunities. Even the best textbooks and classroom instruction have their limits, and most students require a wider variety of hands-on learning opportunities. FCCLA will provide your student with such experiences and opportunities.
Who can join
Membership is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students who have taken or are signed up to take a Family and Consumer Science class. It is not a “club for girls”. FCCLA is a hands-on way of learning basic life skills, leadership skills, community service, and much more. We encourage participation of boys and girls alike.
